A community bon dance held on Omachi Matsuri Road in central Miharu Town on August 15-16, 2026 (Saturday-Sunday). A festival tower stands on the street, and dancers in yukata form circles to the beat of taiko drums. True to Miharu's history as a castle town, the addition of lantern light to the historic streetscape creates an atmosphere distinctly different from daytime. End your day of exploring Takizakura, Deco Manor, and castle ruins by savoring the warmth of this community's bon dance traditions.
