佐世保市中心部の島瀬公園・四ヶ町商店街一帯を会場に開かれる「盆おどりフェスティバル in SASEBO」です。2026年は8月14日(金)から16日(日)にかけて開催され、市街地のアーケード商店街に盆おどりの輪と夜店が並ぶ、佐世保の夏を代表する行事のひとつです。このコースでは初日である8月14日の夜を主役に据えています。昼間に街や動植物園を巡ったあと、夜は商店街に繰り出して盆おどりの輪に加わったり、夜店をひやかしたりと、家族で佐世保の夏いちばんの賑わいを味わえます。

Tips

開催期間中は商店街周辺が大変混雑し、車両の乗り入れが規制される場合があります。公共交通機関の利用が安心です。夜店の出店内容や営業時間は年により変わるため、最新情報は現地または公式案内で確認しましょう。小さな子ども連れは人混みではぐれないよう手をつないで歩くと安心です。

Tips

Just a short walk from JR Sasebo Station. During summer vacation, it can get busy, so visiting in an earlier time slot is recommended. Shimose Park is also accessible by foot from here.
