This complex resort facility in Kamiyama, Gotemba, features the natural hot spring 「Kirakubo」 with an open-air bath, carbonated spring, and herbal bath, a stone-oven bakery that bakes bread using a wood-fired Spanish stone oven, and several restaurants. The spacious grounds are dotted with pleasant spots for a stroll, letting you relax in Gotemba's characteristically cool air. Its calm atmosphere makes it the perfect place for a break before the summer festival.
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from Chichibunomiya Memorial Park. There is an area where you can use the foot bath for free. Keep an eye on the time so you can head to the evening festival as planned.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour needed. With plenty of shade from the trees, the grounds are comfortable even on a summer afternoon.
