Hundreds of Dancers in Matching Costumes Performing Shikoku's Largest Mass Dance

About this spot

Held August 12-14, 2026, this is Shikoku's largest-scale summer festival. Centered at Sanport Takamatsu multi-purpose plaza and surrounding areas, hundreds of dance groups assembled from citizens and businesses perform the mass dance in matching costumes, chanting "O-re, rya-re." In an open venue facing the Seto Inland Sea, the sound of drums and clappers reverberating creates an energy befitting Takamatsu's summer finale.
