This is a spacious lawn plaza adjacent to the museum, an open space surrounded by the mountains of Kami City. During summer vacation, you'll often see families sitting on the grass to rest, making it a perfect spot for a breather between museum visits. It's also equipped with a shop and rest area, so you can cool off during the heat of the day.
Tips
There's little to block the sun, so a hat or parasol is reassuring during the day. Bring drinks with you in advance. Benches and gazebos are limited in number, so when it's crowded, spreading a picnic sheet on the grass is also a good option.
Best time to visit
About 40 minutes. Late afternoon, when more shade appears, is a comfortable time to be here.
