美郷町北郷区の地域住民に親しまれてきた夏祭りで、美郷町役場北郷支所横のすまいる広場を会場に毎年開かれています。深い山々に囲まれた静かな山里だからこそ、提灯の灯りややぐらを囲む人々の声が一段と温かく感じられる、地域密着型の祭りです。地元の子ども会や自治会が中心となって運営されており、初めて訪れる家族でも輪に入りやすい和やかな雰囲気が魅力です。

山あいの会場のため、来場は車が便利ですが駐車スペースは限られることがあります。夜は虫が多くなるので虫よけ対策をしておくと快適です。街灯が少ない道もあるため、懐中電灯があると安心です。

Driving from Mimiga Gorge is convenient. Local products may be limited in quantity; if something catches your interest, purchase it early. Also available for restroom breaks.
