This bay, with its intricate ria coastline, occupies the heart of Minami-Ise Town. Rafts used for pearl farming float in its calm inlets, creating scenery unique to Minami-Ise where mountains and sea intertwine. From the viewpoint, you can take in the entire bay, and the ever-changing colors of the sea throughout the day are also a highlight. Start with this view of the bay to get a sense of the scale of Minami-Ise Town before exploring further.
Tips
There are several scenic viewpoints, so getting around by car is convenient. In summer, some spots offer little shade, so a hat or parasol is a good idea.
