南北朝時代に築かれたと伝わる五ヶ所城の跡地にある愛洲の館で開かれる祭りです。この地は、剣術の源流のひとつとされる愛洲陰流の祖・愛洲移香斎の出身地と伝えられており、剣祖祭ではその功績をしのんで奉納演武などが行われます。2026年は8月23日(日)の開催で、静かな城址に武術ゆかりの緊張感ある空気が漂います。海と山に囲まれた南伊勢町の歴史の奥深さに、家族でふれられる貴重な機会です。

会場周辺は駐車スペースが限られるため、早めの到着がおすすめです。屋外での開催となるため、夕方以降の虫よけ対策もあると安心です。荒天時の開催可否は事前に確認しましょう。

Since the bridge is a traffic route, use nearby safe pull-offs when stopping to enjoy views. The sidewalk also offers good views.
Best time to visit
About 40 minutes required. Daytime brings out the bay's water colors most vividly.
