This bridge, a symbol of Minami-Ise Town, connects Gokashoura and Hazamaura. From the foot of the bridge and the surrounding high ground, you can take in a sweeping view of the intricate inlets of Gokasho Bay, making it a great spot to enjoy the scenery whether driving or on foot. Beyond serving as a local access road, it's also a beloved photo spot for experiencing the vastness of the Minami-Ise coastline. As you cross the bridge, also enjoy the view of the villages and mountains on the far shore of the bay.
Tips
Since the bridge itself is a road for traffic, if you want to stop your car to enjoy the view, use a safe pull-off area nearby. The view from the pedestrian walkway is also good.
Best time to visit
About 40 minutes. The bay's blue water looks its best in the bright daylight hours.
