黒島の島民が一年で最も大切にする伝統行事のひとつで、五穀豊穣への感謝と来年の豊作を祈願する祭りです。2026年は8月2日に開催予定。奉納相撲や獅子舞、棒術といった多彩な芸能が島の広場や御嶽で次々と披露され、島民総出で祭りを支える様子から、離島ならではの結束の強さを感じられます。観光地化されすぎていない、素朴で温かい島の祭りの姿にふれられる貴重な一日です。
