The Mie Prefectural Museum (三重県総合博物館, nicknamed MieMu) is a general museum that systematically introduces the nature, history, and culture of Mie. Its wide-ranging exhibits include fossils, specimens of living creatures, and traditional crafts, and the air-conditioned interior lets you escape the summer heat and stay cool. It is also easy to reach, connected to Tsu Station by a covered walkway. Before heading to the aquatic obstacle park, it makes for time when parents and children can learn about Mie's natural environment together.

御殿場ウォーター亀ハウスは、三重県津市藤方の御殿場海岸に登場する水上アスレチックです。2026年は7月5日(日)から9月22日(火・祝)までの営業で、50分入替制です。平日は9時から、土日祝は10時から16時30分までの間に複数の時間帯が設けられています(9月は予約状況により早めに営業を終える場合があります)。海面に浮かぶ浮き橋やトランポリン、滑り台などのアスレチック設備が連なり、バランス感覚を使いながら水しぶきをあげて遊べるのが魅力です。ライフジャケットを着用しての遊びが基本となるため、泳ぎに自信のない子どもでも保護者と一緒に挑戦しやすい構成です。海水浴とはまたひと味違う、体を思いきり動かす夏の水遊びを楽しめます。

It is just a few minutes on foot from the west exit of Tsu Station via a covered walkway, so getting there is easy even in rain or extreme heat. Inside there are also rest areas where strollers can be used. Checking the official website in advance for crowd levels and special exhibition content is reassuring.
