This zoo lets you meet a wide variety of animals, including the red panda that became famous nationwide for standing upright. The grounds are not too large and are kept to a scale that is easy to walk around even with small children. The appeal is spending plenty of enjoyable time meeting animals before getting in the pool. Many of the exhibits are outdoors, so visiting in the cool morning hours makes for a comfortable look around.

千葉市若葉区にある屋内型の温水プールで、9時から21時まで通年営業しています。屋内施設のため雨天や猛暑日、真冬でも天候を気にせず利用でき、季節を問わず計画しやすいのが大きな魅力です。流水プールやコース分けされたプールなど複数のエリアがあり、水に慣れていない小さな子どもから泳ぎ込みたい大人まで、それぞれのペースで楽しめます。地域の家族に長く親しまれてきたスポーツ施設で、1年を通して安定して利用できます。動物園や里山散策の後にたっぷり体を動かせる、1日の締めくくりにぴったりの時間です。

Tips

料金や貸出用品の詳細は公式サイトで事前に確認しておくと安心です。混雑する時間帯を避けたい場合は、開場直後や夕方前の時間が比較的落ち着いています。館内は屋内温水のため、着替えの後に羽織るものを1枚用意しておくと過ごしやすいです。

Tips

Admission requires a separate fee. In summer the animals are often more active during the cooler hours, so touring right after opening is recommended. Some areas have little shade, so prepare a hat and sunscreen.
