Flow of the course

About this spot

A 57.7-meter tall observation tower with half-mirror glass, serving as a landmark of Choshi City. From the 4th floor observation room, you can see 360 degrees of the wide mouth of the Tone River, Choshi Fishing Port, the Pacific Ocean, and Kashima-nada, allowing you to confirm in advance the full panorama of the Tone River banks where fireworks will light up tonight. The adjacent wholesale seafood center "Wosé 21 (ウォッセ21)" carries marine products and soy sauce-related items unique to Choshi, making it convenient for souvenir shopping. The observation room is air-conditioned, allowing you to enjoy the views while cooling off during the summer daytime.

Tips

About 20 minutes by bus from Choshi Station, or about 10 minutes by car. Admission: 420 yen for adults. Adjacent Wosé 21 is free to enter and carries local seafood and Choshi soy sauce. On the day of the fireworks, traffic congestion is expected on surrounding roads from evening onward. If you plan to park your car during this time, check the parking lot's business hours in advance.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour required. On a clear day, you can see the full panorama of Choshi City and the Tone River from the observation room.
