Shirako Beach (Nakazato/Kosho) is a swimming beach set up on the Nakazato/Kosho coast of Shirako Town; in 2026 it's open from Friday, July 17 to Sunday, August 23, with swimming hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Located on a stretch of Kujukuri Beach, its spacious sandy shore lets families enjoy sea bathing to their heart's content. Its location, easy to combine with the roadside station and the riverside park, is another appeal unique to this beach.
