Iwawada Beach (岩和田海水浴場) opens on the Iwawada coast in Iwawada, Onjuku Town, and in 2026 it runs from Saturday, July 18 to Sunday, August 23. Gentle waves typical of the Boso sea and a beautiful sandy shore stretch out here, so families can enjoy swimming with room to spare. It is also close to sights in Onjuku Town such as the Tsuki no Sabaku Memorial Statue, and this easy pairing with a history walk is part of its appeal.
