This lush bird-watching forest opened to mark the sister-city partnership with Campbelltown in Australia. Walking paths run through the grounds, and you can observe a variety of wild birds through the seasons. Surrounded by trees, it stays relatively cool even in summer, which also makes it a good place to rest before water play. Bringing binoculars lets you enjoy bird-watching more seriously. Stroll here through to midday and get your energy in order for the pool that follows.

2026年は7月4日(土)・5日(日)、7月11日(土)・12日(日)の週末開催に続き、7月18日(土)から8月31日(月)まではほぼ毎日、9月5日(土)・6日(日)にも営業する、越谷市のしらこばと水上公園内にある水遊び場です。有料の夏季プールエリア内にあり、大人1,100円・小中学生300円で、未就学児は無料で利用できます。浅い水深で作られたじゃぶじゃぶ池と幼児プールは、小さな子どもでも安心して水に親しめる作りになっており、家族連れに人気です。周囲には木陰も多く、水遊びの合間に休憩を挟みながら1日を過ごせます。営業時間は9時から17時までで、最終受付は16時です。

Tips

最終受付は16時までなので、遅くとも15時台には入園するのが安心です。夏休み期間の週末は混雑が予想されるため、午後早めの時間帯に入るとゆったり過ごせます。着替えや休憩スペースも用意されているので、タオルや飲み物を多めに持参しましょう。

Some paths have ups and downs, so visiting in comfortable walking shoes is recommended. Insect repellent will make the visit more pleasant. Preparing lunch in advance or picking it up near Obukuro Station keeps things smooth.
