The roadside station Michi no Oasis Kamiizumi (道のオアシス神泉) is a rest stop lined with fresh local produce and regional specialties. It also has a dining area, so you can enjoy lunch made with local ingredients. It is close to both Kanasana Shrine and Kannagawa Waterside Park, making it an easy stop as a base for touring Kamikawa Town. There are also many covered rest areas, so you can stay comfortable even on a hot day.
Tips
The produce on display changes with the seasons, so looking for vegetables and fruit in season is part of the fun. Picking up drinks and snacks at the shop is also handy for the water play that follows. The parking lot is large, making it well suited to a stop by car.
