Kitano Tenjinsha Shrine (北野天神社) is a historic shrine said to be the origin of the place name Kotesashi in Tokorozawa City, and it has long been cherished as the local guardian shrine. Its grounds are surrounded by greenery and wrapped in a quiet, composed atmosphere. It enshrines Sugawara no Michizane, known as the deity of learning, and many people visit to pray for their family's health and their children's growth. 所沢市北野公園市民プールは、2026年7月18日から夏季営業を開始する屋外レジャープールです。営業時間は9時30分から17時まで(最終入場16時)で、遊泳プールに加えて幼児用・児童用のプールもそろっており、小さな子どもから大人まで幅広く楽しめます。北野天神社のすぐそばという立地で、地域に根ざした夏の水遊びスポットとして親しまれています。午前の歴史散策で歩いた後、夕方までたっぷり水遊びを満喫できるクライマックスにぴったりです。

Tips

最終入場は16時までなので、遅くとも15時台には入場するのが安心です。夏休み期間の週末は混雑が予想されるため、お昼どきの入場がゆったり利用しやすいです。更衣室やロッカーの利用方法は現地の案内に従いましょう。

Tips

Keep quiet during your visit and be considerate so as not to disturb other worshippers. Much of the grounds is paved, so it is easy going with a stroller.
