Kitano Tenjinsha Shrine (北野天神社) is a historic shrine said to be the origin of the place name Kotesashi in Tokorozawa City, and it has long been cherished as the local guardian shrine. Its grounds are surrounded by greenery and wrapped in a quiet, composed atmosphere. It enshrines Sugawara no Michizane, known as the deity of learning, and many people visit to pray for their family's health and their children's growth. It is a spot that lets you begin the day in a serene frame of mind.
Tips
