Hata Shrine is a historic shrine standing in the Ishida district of Hannan City, the same district as Wanpaku Okoku. Its lush, green grounds are wrapped in a quiet, calm atmosphere and have long been cherished by local residents. Spending a relaxed moment while paying your respects helps settle your mood for the water play to come. Being close to Wanpaku Okoku, with an easy onward trip, is also part of its appeal.
Tips
Please stay quiet while visiting and be mindful not to disturb other worshippers. The grounds have stone steps and gravel paths, so wear comfortable walking shoes.
