The Osaka Prefectural Central Library (大阪府立中央図書館) is one of the largest libraries in the prefecture, with a well-stocked children's book corner. It is close to Hanazono Central Park, and its scale is just right for a cool indoor rest after playing at the park. The open space where you can freely pick up picture books and illustrated guides has an atmosphere in which even small children find it easy to stay quiet. Being able to spend the hottest summer hours comfortably indoors is another appeal.
