This roadside station is located along National Route 156 in Mukokodara, Shirotori, Gujo City. The open-air market 'Kiyukan' (木遊館) offers local vegetables, terraced-rice-paddy rice, Gujo miso, and specialties like Ke-chan chicken, while the handmade soba workshop 'Gensuke-san' (源助さん) lets you watch soba being made. The restaurant also serves treats such as rice-flour cream puffs. It's a great place to fuel up before river play and to pick up souvenirs of your trip.

Tips

Located along National Route 156 with a spacious parking lot, making it easy to stop by. It can get crowded around lunchtime, so visiting around 11 a.m. tends to be smoother. It's also a good idea to stock up on drinks and snacks here for your river play.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour needed. Finishing a proper meal before river play makes it easier to plan the afternoon.
