Koromo Shrine (挙母神社) is the guardian shrine in central Toyota City, long cherished locally as the protector of the town. Despite its location close to Toyota-shi Station, the precincts are surrounded by trees and have a calm atmosphere. The appeal is being able to worship while sensing a history that has advanced together with the town's development. The precincts are not very large, so it is easy to drop in even for a short time. It is just the right scale for a short break before heading to the pool.
Tips
It is within walking distance of Toyota-shi Station, easy to visit in the middle of a town walk. The precincts are paved and easy to walk with a stroller.
Best time to visit
About 30 to 40 minutes. Stopping by during the morning is recommended.
