Opened in 1995, the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art (豊田市美術館) is an impressive museum with refined architecture designed by Yoshio Taniguchi (谷口吉生) and a garden spread across a hilltop. It boasts one of the finest collections in Japan, centered on modern and contemporary art, with a rich lineup of special exhibitions year-round. About a 15-minute walk from Meitetsu Toyotashi Station (名鉄豊田市駅) or Shin-Toyota Station on the Aichi Loop Line (愛知環状鉄道新豊田駅), or it's convenient to take the bus.
