Plenty of water play in the shallow play area through the afternoon
About this spot
Jabu-Jabu Pond (じゃぶじゃぶ池) at Kameido Central Park, Area B, is a free water-play area that can be enjoyed from 1 July to 30 September. It operates from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the shallow water means even small children can play safely together with a guardian. A lawn area and play-equipment zone are adjacent within the spacious park, so children can also move around between spells of water play. Note that it is generally closed every Thursday, and cancelled during natural disasters such as typhoons, in rain, or on cold days. As a local outing, it is a valuable spot for plenty of afternoon play.

Tips
Bring plenty of spare clothes and towels, and do not forget sun protection. It is generally closed on Thursdays, so take care when choosing your visit date.
