Hikarigaoka IMA (光が丘IMA) is a large shopping mall standing in front of Hikarigaoka Station. The food court and restaurants are well provided, and being able to choose a menu to suit children's tastes is a handy point. There are also many rest spaces inside, so you can stay cool even in the hot season. Filling up properly before water play keeps everyone energetic through the afternoon.

光が丘公園の水景施設(じゃぶじゃぶ池)は、無料で楽しめる水遊び場です。2026年は7月1日(水)から9月30日(水)まで、10時から16時の間で利用できます。ただし清掃やイベントのため、7月14日から21日、8月12日から14日、9月14日から16日は休止となるので訪問前に確認しておきましょう。浅い流れが中心のつくりなので、まだ泳げない小さな子どもでも安心して水にふれられます。周囲は緑豊かな光が丘公園の一角で、木陰も多く、遊び疲れたら涼みながら休憩できるのもうれしいポイントです。近所のおでかけ先として気軽に立ち寄れる、家族に人気のスポットです。
Tips
料金は無料ですが、休止期間や当日の開放状況は事前に公式情報で確認しておくと安心です。水は浅いとはいえ目を離さず、レジャーシートを敷いて荷物置き場を確保しておくと過ごしやすくなります。着替えは多めに持っていくと安心です。
Tips
It connects directly to Hikarigaoka Station, so access is excellent. The food court can get crowded at lunchtime, so aiming for a slightly earlier or later time goes smoothly. There are toilets and a nursing room inside too, so it is reassuring with small children.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour 15 minutes. Shifting slightly away from the lunch peak makes it easier to get a seat.
