Tamagawadai Park (多摩川台公園) is a green park spreading across a rise along the Tama River (多摩川). Within the grounds are a group of burial mounds and a museum, so a distinctive feature is being able to stroll while touching history. From the viewing platform you can look out over the flow of the Tama River and the scenery on the far bank, making for a pleasant time. The lawn area is also wide, perfect for spreading a picnic sheet and eating a packed lunch.

Tips
It is within walking distance of Tamagawa Station on the Tokyu Tamagawa Line, an easy location to reach. There are stairs leading to the viewing platform, so with a stroller it is reassuring to check the detour route in advance. Bringing light food and drinks for lunch lets you spend a relaxed time in the park.

About 1 hour 30 minutes. Taking a break on the lawn area at lunchtime is recommended.
