The Tokyo Toy Museum (東京おもちゃ美術館) is a hands-on toy museum housed in a former primary school building. Wooden toys are laid out generously inside, and the greatest appeal is being able to pick them up and play freely. Guided sessions and workshops by toy curators are sometimes held, so adults can enjoy it together too. It is a popular family spot for moving hands and bodies in play before the pool.

Tips
It is within walking distance of Akebonobashi Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line or Yotsuya-sanchome Station on the Marunouchi Line, an easy location to reach. It can get crowded on holidays, so arriving at opening time allows calmer play.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour 30 minutes. The morning just after opening is relatively quiet and recommended.
