Kappabashi Kitchenware Street (かっぱ橋道具街) is a street lined with specialist shops selling cooking equipment, tableware and food samples. Shopfronts displaying food samples that look just like the real thing fascinate children and adults alike, and simply walking and looking makes for an enjoyable time. Everything from professional tools to household goods is available, making it perfect for souvenir hunting too. It is a distinctive shopping street, easy to drop into as an extension of an Asakusa stroll.
