Seseragi (せせらぎ) at Kodomo no Kuni (こどもの国) is a water-play area using a shallow stream. In 2026 it's open from mid-March to mid-October, and can be used just with regular park admission while Kodomo no Kuni is open. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (until 5:00 p.m. in July and August). Since the water is shallow and the current gentle, even small children can safely enjoy the water. The area is surrounded by trees with plenty of shade, making it easy to spend a long time there while taking breaks.

Tips

Last admission is a bit before closing time, so if you visit later in the afternoon, check how much time is left. Bringing extra changes of clothes and towels will keep things comfortable after playing in the water.

Best time to visit

Entering around 1 p.m. tends to be relatively uncrowded, letting you play leisurely with breaks until evening.
