About this spot

This plaza sits at the heart of Kodomo no Kuni (こどもの国), making it a good spot to spread out a picnic and take a break before water play at Seseragi (せせらぎ). Stilts and hula hoops are sometimes available for rent at the plaza, and performances are occasionally held there too. From the nearby mini steam-train station, the SL-style ride 'Taiyo-go' (太陽号) departs, offering about a 5-minute mini-train journey. Take a break here after the ranch and cycling to prepare for the afternoon's water play at Seseragi.
