Hayakawa Fishing Port, also called Odawara Fishing Port, is a local port where seafood caught in Sagami Bay is landed. Eateries serving seafood rice bowls and dried fish gather nearby, so you can finish lunch while tasting freshly caught fish. Fishing boats and moored craft line the harbor, and feeling the scent of the sea before bathing adds to the sense of travel. It sits on the way to Miyuki-no-Hama, and the easy-to-reach location is another plus.
Tips
It can get busy at lunchtime on summer-holiday weekends, so arriving around noon is recommended. Parking spaces are limited, so it is reassuring to keep nearby coin parking in mind as well.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour. Arriving before the lunch peak goes smoothly
