A complex themed on kamaboko fish cake, an Odawara specialty, gathering a workshop where you can watch the production process or make your own, a shop and dining areas. The appeal is spending unhurried family time while tasting freshly made kamaboko and chikuwa. With many indoor facilities, it also suits passing the hottest hours of summer. It is a perfect spot for a snack or souvenir hunting before sea bathing.

小田原市街地からほど近い場所に位置する海水浴場で、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月23日(日)まで開設されます。遊泳時間は9時から17時までです。街の中心部からのアクセスがよく、観光と海水浴を同じ日にまとめて楽しめるのが大きな魅力。波は比較的穏やかで、砂浜には海水浴客がのびのびと過ごせる広さがあります。街と海の近さを実感できる、小田原らしい海水浴場です。

Tips

小田原駅から徒歩や車でアクセスできます。夏の砂浜は熱いのでビーチサンダルが必携です。遊泳時間は17時までなので、着替えの時間を見込んで少し早めに切り上げるのがおすすめです。

Tips

It is convenient to travel by car from Odawara Castle Park. Reserving the hands-on workshop in advance is recommended. Having a light meal at the on-site dining area also makes it easier to pace the time before the afternoon at the beach.
