About this spot
A swimming beach spreading along Hiratsuka Beach in Hiratsuka City, open in 2026 from Saturday, July 18 to Monday, August 31. Swimming hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It sits near the mouth of the Sagami River, and the appeal is open scenery with the Tanzawa mountains in the distance. Good access from central Tokyo also makes it popular with families enjoying a day trip for sea bathing. Beach huts and rest areas are in place on the broad sands, so you can enjoy a full day in the water.

Tips
