Stroll precincts with a three-storied pagoda
About this spot
An ancient shrine in central Omachi City, unusual for the three-storied pagoda that remains in its precincts, a trace of the old blending of Shinto and Buddhism. It has a history of drawing faith from climbers of the Northern Alps, and the quiet precincts have just the right atmosphere for a stroll. Known as a stage for the summer festival, it is treasured as a shrine rooted in the community. It is a recommended spot for praying for a safe trip before heading off for river play.

Tips
Tips
It is within walking distance of Omachi Station and easy to reach. Most paths in the precincts are paved and easy to walk. In summer, resting in the shade of the trees is recommended.
