Facing Ito Port, the roadside station Ito Marine Town is a complex that brings together a products hall lined with fresh fish and dried seafood and dining areas where you can taste local catches. There is also a free footbath, making it perfect for a break before sea bathing. On clear days you can view Oshima (大島) across Sagami Bay (相模湾) from within the facility, so you can enjoy lunch in an open, airy atmosphere. Once shopping and the meal are done, it is time to head to Usami Beach for the afternoon.

Tips

設備の詳細は事前に伊東市の公式情報で確認するのがおすすめです。夏の砂浜は熱くなるので、ビーチサンダルは必携です。帰り支度の時間も見込んで、余裕を持って切り上げましょう。

Tips

About 10 minutes by car to Usami Beach. The parking lot can get crowded at midday during the summer holidays, so arriving early is recommended. Bringing a towel for the footbath is handy.
