The Ogi Park Genki Hiroba Jabujabu Firefly Pond is a free water play area inside Genki Hiroba. Ogi City's official guide records it as "Jabujabu Firefly Pond (March to November)", and the charm of this waterside is that it can be enjoyed over a long stretch from spring to autumn. In the same square there are waterside facilities including Ogi Falls (小城の滝), a Water Terrace where you can play in fountains, and a reflexology footpath, so you can switch between several ways of playing in the water. When you tire of the water you can go back to the Adventure Fort, the Kids' Slope or the wooden play equipment, and return to the pond as many times as you like once you have dried off — that is the strength of this square. With a rest area available, you can leave your bags and take turns resting, so a long stay is easy.

The exact opening and closing dates for 2026 have not been announced, so check the current situation with Ogi City's guide before you go. In March and November the water is still cold, so bring clothes that can get wet plus a layer to throw on, and it is safer to keep the session short. Bringing slightly more changes of clothes and towels than the number of people prevents chills after getting out. The reflexology footpath is popular with adults too, so walking it together at the end makes a lively finish.

Going in after 2 p.m. lines up with the hours when the sunlight softens, so you can play until evening with breaks in between
