Ogi Park (小城公園)
About this spot
Ogi Park began as the garden of the lord of the former Ogi domain and is also widely known as a cherry blossom spot. Inside there are ponds, large trees and Okayama Shrine (岡山神社), with walking paths whose character changes with each season. Genki Hiroba has the Adventure Fort (冒険トリデ), the Kids' Slope (ちびっこゲレンデ), swings, wooden play equipment and a man-made hill, so siblings of different ages can each find their own way to play. There is a rest area too, so you can leave your bags and take turns watching the children. It is just the right place to spend an unhurried time over a bento and build up energy for the afternoon in the water.

小城公園 元気広場 じゃぶじゃぶホタル池は、元気広場の中にある無料の水遊び場です。小城市の公式案内には「じゃぶじゃぶホタル池（3月〜11月）」と記されており、春から秋まで長く楽しめるのがこの水辺の魅力です。同じ広場には小城の滝、噴水などで水遊びができるウォーターテラス、足つぼ歩道といった親水施設が並び、水の遊び方をいくつも切り替えられます。水に飽きたら冒険トリデやちびっこゲレンデ、木製遊具に戻れて、体を乾かしながら何度でも池へ戻れるのがこの広場のよいところ。休憩所があるので、荷物を置いて交代で休みながら長く過ごせます。
Tips
2026年の具体的な開始日・終了日は公表されていないため、出かける前に小城市の案内で当日の状況を確認してください。3月や11月は水がまだ冷たいので、ぬれてもよい服とはおりものを用意し、短めに切り上げるのが安心です。着替えとタオルは人数分より少し多めに持って行くと、上がったあとの冷えを防げます。足つぼ歩道は大人にも人気なので、最後にみんなで歩いてみると盛り上がります。
Tips
Use is free, and it is a short walk from the parking area to the square. Clothes get dirty easily on the Kids' Slope and the man-made hill, so a full change of clothes is reassuring. The Jabujabu Firefly Pond is inside this same Genki Hiroba, so you can move straight from the play equipment to the water. On days with strong sunshine, lay a picnic sheet in the shade of the trees and take frequent breaks.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour 30 minutes. The shady spots fill up first around lunchtime, so decide on your resting place as soon as you arrive
