Splash Pond at Mitsuse Rubelle Farm Donguri Village (三瀬ルベール牧場どんぐり村 じゃぶじゃぶ池)
About this spot
The Splash Pond at Mitsuse Rubelle Farm Donguri Village is a seasonal water play area fed by the Sefuri Mountains (脊振山系). According to official information it opens from mid-July to late September, operating only on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 to 17:00 (last entry 16:30). The water is only ankle-deep, so even small children can enter safely, though an adult is required to watch over them at close range. Because it is mountain water, it feels cooler than water play areas on the plains, and combined with the fresh air of Mitsuse it stays comfortable even in midsummer. Admission to the village is required, but there is no extra charge for the Splash Pond, and if children tire of the water they can head back to the Petting Plaza or Donguri Hill, which is another strength of this village.

Tips
The exact opening and closing dates for 2026 have not been announced, so check the official notices for that day's status before you set out. The village closes in rain, and the pond may not open on the day after rain. It operates only on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, with last entry at 16:30, so take care not to plan a weekday visit. Mountain water feels cold, so bring towels and a light layer so children can dry off and change as soon as they get out.
Best time to visit
Entering after 14:00 lines up with the hours when the sun softens, letting you play with breaks right up to the 17:00 closing
