The terminal at Osaka International Airport (大阪国際空港) has plenty of places to eat while watching the planes, making it an ideal lunch stop for families. Step out onto the observation deck and you get a view over the runway from a different angle than at Itami Sky Park. A proper rest in the air-conditioned building should leave everyone with the energy to enjoy the afternoon in the water right to the end. There are souvenir shops and food stores too, so you can stock up here on drinks and snacks for the afternoon. Nishiinano Park is about 10 minutes away by car.

兵庫県立西猪名公園ウォーターランドは、およそ10,000平方メートルという広さをもつ、川西市の大きな水遊び施設です。2026年は6月13日(土)から9月23日(水)まで、9:00から17:00まで(入園は16:30まで)開かれ、毎週火曜日は休園になります。ウォーターキャッスル・スライダー・流れゾーンとエリアが分かれているので、小さな子は浅い場所で、体力のついた子はスライダーでと、年齢に合わせた遊び方ができるのが強みです。更衣室・シャワー・授乳室がそろっているため、赤ちゃんを連れていても落ち着いて過ごせます。料金は4歳から69歳が6月・9月は200円、7月・8月は300円、70歳以上は100円、3歳以下は無料です。7月から9月の土日祝には17:30から21:00の夜の部もあり、日中とは違う涼しい時間を過ごすこともできます。

Tips

土日祝とお盆の期間は事前予約制なので、日程が決まったら早めに手続きしてください。入園は16:30までなので、遅くとも16時までには入っておきましょう。更衣室とシャワーがあるので、帰りの着替えは現地で済ませられます。ぬれた水着を入れるビニール袋と、体を冷やさないための羽織ものを一枚用意しておくと安心です。

Tips

Restaurants get busy around noon on weekends, so shifting your timing a little means less waiting for a table. Parking is paid, so decide how long you will stay before going in. Diaper-changing and nursing facilities are available, so it is comfortable even with a baby. Changing children into their swimsuits in the restroom after the meal saves a scramble if the changing rooms on site are crowded.
