Hyogo Prefectural Nishiinano Park Water Land (兵庫県立西猪名公園) is a large water-play facility in Kawanishi City covering roughly 10,000 square meters. In 2026 it is open from Saturday, June 13 to Wednesday, September 23, from 9:00 to 17:00 (last entry 16:30), and closed every Tuesday. The grounds are divided into the Water Castle, the slides, and the flowing-water zone, so little ones can stay in the shallows while older children take on the slides, with play to match every age. Changing rooms, showers, and a nursing room are all provided, so you can relax even with a baby along. Admission is 200 yen in June and September and 300 yen in July and August for ages 4 to 69, 100 yen for those 70 and over, and free for children 3 and under. On weekends and holidays from July to September there is also an evening session from 17:30 to 21:00, a cooler stretch of time quite unlike the daytime.

Tips

Advance reservations are required on weekends, public holidays, and during the Obon period, so book as soon as your date is set. Last entry is 16:30, so be inside by 16:00 at the latest. With changing rooms and showers on site, you can get changed for the trip home there. Bring a plastic bag for wet swimsuits and one light layer to keep bodies from getting chilled.

Best time to visit

Arrive at 14:00 and you can focus on the hours when the sun softens, playing right through to 17:00.
