This facility in Nishinopporo, Ebetsu City, takes pottery and Ebetsu's bricks as its theme. Ebetsu is a place blessed with fine clay, and from the Meiji era it produced a great many bricks whose buildings still stand across Hokkaido. Inside, you can take your time over the history of the bricks fired in this town and over ceramic works from within Hokkaido and beyond. There is also a ceramics workshop, and depending on the season there are chances to use your hands and work with the clay yourself. The surrounding area is close to the forest park and full of greenery, making it just the right place for a quiet morning.

上江別南町公園水遊び場は、江別市にある無料の水遊びスポットです。2026年の開設期間は未発表ですが、例年は夏休みの時期に合わせて水が出ます。この公園の特徴は、芝生広場と噴水、木製遊具がひとまとまりになっていること。水に飽きたら遊具へ、疲れたら芝生に寝転がってと、子どもの気分に合わせて自然に遊びが切り替わります。芝生が広いのでレジャーシートを敷いて拠点を作りやすく、大人も落ち着いて見守れます。利用は無料で、時間を気にせず気が済むまで過ごせるのが家族連れにはうれしいところです。

開設状況は年によって変わるため、出発前に江別市の案内で今年の期間を確認してください。噴水のまわりは石畳で滑りやすいことがあるので、水遊び用サンダルを履かせておくと安心です。日陰は木の下が中心なので、日差しの強い日はワンタッチテントがあると休憩しやすくなります。夕方は風が出て体が冷えることがあるため、羽織ものを一枚持っていきましょう。
