Shiki no Michi Seseragi (四季のみち せせらぎ)

About this spot

Shiki no Michi Seseragi is a free water play spot running along Shiki no Michi, a promenade in Ebetsu. The 2026 opening period has not been announced yet, but in most years the water runs to match the summer holidays. It is not a single park but a long, narrow walking path, so the way to enjoy it here is to go back and forth between fountains and stream as you walk. Monuments representing the seasons are dotted along the path, so between spells of water play there is also the fun of moving on to see what comes next. The flow is shallow, so even small children can dip their feet and play while adults watch over them from benches in the shade. Admission is free, so you can spend as long and as leisurely a time as you like.

Name: 四季のみち せせらぎ

Date & time: 開設期間は未発表 (例年は夏休み期間)

Venue: 江別市・四季のみち

Tips

Opening conditions vary from year to year, so please check this year's period with the Ebetsu city information before you set out. Because it runs along a promenade, bicycles and pedestrians pass right beside the water. Please keep small children in sight at all times. Some paved sections are slippery, so having children wear water play sandals is reassuring. Changing spaces are limited, so putting swimwear on under clothing makes getting ready on site much easier.

Best time to visit

Arriving at 14:20 gives about 2 hours 10 minutes, playing until the evening when the sunlight softens.
