An area born in Kitahiroshima City that is like a whole town built around a stadium. At its centre, ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO is the home of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, and its retractable roof and vast glass faces are overwhelming seen from close by. Restaurants, shops and plazas have been laid out around it, so being able to have lunch while gazing at the stadium fits this day's flow nicely. On game days the surrounding roads and car parks become extremely crowded, so if you are combining this with water play it is safest to choose a day without a game. Some plazas have little shade, so a hat and drinks are essential. Tsutsujigaoka Park is about 15 minutes away by car.
