An aquarium inside the shopping complex in Shin-Sapporo. It is not large, but in return you stand close to each tank, and the good part is that children can see the fish properly even at their own height. From fish that live in northern seas to the vividly colored fish of southern waters, you can take in a wide range in a short time. Being indoors, it is not at the mercy of the weather, and it lasts just long enough to settle everyone down before the afternoon in the water. The flow from a time of watching fish to a time of getting into the water themselves lifts younger children's spirits most of all.

Tips

Check the admission fee, opening hours and closed days on the official information in advance. Some feedings and talks are held at fixed times, so looking over the day's schedule as you enter keeps you from missing the highlights. The halls are dark, so walk hand in hand with small children. It is best to leave your water play gear in the car or a locker and enter unburdened.
