According to information from the City of Sapporo, the 2026 season runs from Sunday, July 5 to Sunday, August 23, from 9:00 to 17:00, opening for 50 days starting on the first Sunday of July. The water is shallow, so even small children who are not used to water can walk in on their own. Because the park sits in a residential neighborhood, another appeal is joining an everyday summer scene, playing alongside local children. There are no pool-style clearing times, so you can move freely between playing and resting. Since it is free, it also suits a short afternoon-only visit.

Closing time is 17:00. Getting out of the water around 16:30 leaves time to change and pack up without rushing. The area may be closed on some days due to weather, water temperature or cleaning work, so check the City of Sapporo information page for the day's status before setting out. Shade is limited at certain hours, so a hat and sunscreen are essential. Children not yet out of diapers should wear swim diapers.
