The season runs from Saturday, June 6, 2026 to Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 9:00 to 17:00. Because it uses spring water, the water is cold, and the chill the instant you put a foot in is an experience unique to this place. The water is shallow, so even small children who cannot swim yet can walk in on their own. The story that the spring in the park name is itself the source of the water play leaves an impression on children if you tell them. Admission is free, so dropping by for the afternoon alone also works well.

Closing is at 17:00. Allowing for changing clothes and packing up, getting out of the water around 16:30 gives you a comfortable margin to head home. Spring water is cold, so take breaks rather than staying in too long, and bring something to put on over your clothes. On some days the area cannot be used because of weather, water temperature or cleaning work, so check the City of Sapporo information page for that day before you set out. For children not yet out of diapers, bring swim diapers.
