Chiba Port Park Water Plaza is the free water play area at Chiba Port Park in Chuo Ward, Chiba City. It is a shallow water play area set inside an open, seafront park, so you can enjoy both the glitter of the water and the sea breeze while you play. In fiscal 2025 it was open from July 19 to August 31, from 10:00 to 16:00, but the fiscal 2026 dates have not been announced, so please check the official information before you go. Playing undressed or in a plain diaper is not allowed; a swimsuit or swim diaper is required. Pets may not enter the water, and balls, inflatable rings and water guns cannot be used. Because the rules are clear, the environment stays calm enough for even small children to play in.
