Shimizu Park Aqua Venture Splash Pond

About this spot

This is 「Shimizu Park Aqua Venture Splash Pond」, the water-play area in Shimizu Park (清水公園) in Noda City. In 2026 the official wet season runs from Monday 1 June to Wednesday 30 September, and only during this period is the pond filled with water for play. Hours are 9:00 to 17:00 and vary with the season. Fountains where water comes crashing down from a giant bucket sit alongside water play equipment, and the easygoing part is that you can enjoy it in a swimsuit or in clothes you do not mind getting wet. Wet-season fees are 1,400 yen for adults (junior high school age and above), 1,200 yen for children (age 3 and above) and 700 yen for seniors (age 65 and above). During the dry period from 1 October to 31 May only the fountains and play equipment operate, so getting into the water is possible only during the summer.

Tips

Hours vary with the season, so check the opening times for the day on the official website. The moment the water falls from the giant bucket has real force, so letting small children get used to it from a little distance at first is safer. Checking where the changing area is and how the lockers work in advance makes getting ready to leave smoother. Bring plenty of plastic bags for wet clothes and dry towels.

Best time to visit

About 2 hours 45 minutes. After 2 pm, when the sunlight softens, is comfortable, and you can play right up to 5 pm.
