About this spot
This is the free water-play spot Forest and Plaza of the 21st Century Water and Shade Plaza in the Forest and Plaza of the 21st Century in Matsudo City. Water springs up at the edge of the Plaza of Light and Wind and flows as a small stream down to Sendabori Pond (千駄堀池), so you can play while following the current from upstream to downstream. It is shaded under the bridges, making it easy to find a cool spot even on hot days, which families will appreciate. Entry to the park is free. There is no official statement of the water-play season, so please check with the management office (047-345-8900) before you go. The operating period has not been announced; in most years it opens during the summer holidays.

Do not count on a changing room; being ready to change in a restroom or in the shade saves any panic.
