Kisarazu City Local Museum Kin-no-Suzu

This municipal museum conveys the history and culture of Kisarazu, and its name comes from the golden bells unearthed from the Kinreizuka Burial Mound (金鈴塚古墳) in the city. The displays of grave goods and personal ornaments show that this land facing Tokyo Bay was an important place from early times. The exhibition rooms are compact, so even small children can go all the way round while their concentration lasts, which is a relief. Because it stands on high ground, the view from around the building is refreshing and stepping outside brings a sense of openness. Spend the hot morning hours indoors and save energy for the afternoon water play.

東京湾に突き出した木更津の海辺にある無料の水遊び場「鳥居崎海浜公園噴水広場」です。噴水広場のまわりには海辺の遊歩道があり、水遊びに飽きたら潮風の中を歩けるという、内陸の公園にはない過ごし方ができます。園内にはカフェレストランがあるので、昼ごはんのために公園を離れる必要がないのも家族連れには大きな利点。中の島大橋のたもとに位置しているため、橋を渡ってから水遊びへ、という流れが自然につながります。利用は無料で、短時間だけ立ち寄る使い方もできます。2026年の開設期間は未発表で、例年は夏休み期間に稼働します。

開設期間が未発表のため、出かける前に木更津市の案内で当日の稼働状況を確認してください。海辺なので日差しと風が強く、帽子・日焼け止め・羽織るものがあると快適です。噴水のまわりは濡れて滑りやすくなるので、マリンシューズやサンダルを履かせましょう。カフェレストランの営業日と営業時間は事前に確認しておくと、昼食の計画が崩れません。
