Toriizaki Seaside Park Fountain Plaza
About this spot
This is the free water play area Toriizaki Seaside Park Fountain Plaza, on the Kisarazu shore jutting out into Tokyo Bay. A seaside promenade runs around the Fountain Plaza, so when children tire of the water they can walk in the sea breeze, a way of spending time that inland parks cannot offer. There is a cafe restaurant in the park, so there is no need to leave for lunch, a big advantage for families. It sits at the foot of Naka-no-Shima Bridge, so crossing the bridge and then moving on to water play connects naturally. Use is free, and you can also drop in for just a short while. The 2026 operating period has not been announced; in most years it runs during the summer holidays.
Season & hours
Name: 鳥居崎海浜公園 噴水広場
Date & time: 開設期間は未発表 (例年は夏休み期間)
Venue: 木更津市・鳥居崎海浜公園
Tips
Because the operating period has not been announced, check the Kisarazu City information for the day's status before you go. It is by the sea, so the sun and wind are strong: a hat, sunscreen and something to throw on will keep you comfortable. The area around the fountain gets wet and slippery, so have children wear water shoes or sandals. Checking the cafe restaurant's opening days and hours in advance keeps your lunch plan from falling apart.
Best time to visit
About 3 hours 30 minutes. After lunch, water play in the afternoon when the sea breeze turns pleasant is recommended
